Glass art, a field that combines creative talent, precision and sound technological knowledge, is artist Konstantin Valchev's speciality. Valchev graduated from the Prague Academy of Applied Arts – a major player on the international glass art scene, as in 1954 it was the first school to introduce a graduate programme for glass artists. Later Valchev specialised in Rosenthal, and now works in the Czech capital. Check out his striking glass figures – the form, colour and light reflections form a world of their own.
